I’ve been painting murals for 25+ years. It’s been a great side hustle while I raised and homeschooled my son. After playing football for 4 years for our local traditional high school, he graduated in 2023.
Now that I’m looking at an empty nest, I’m wanting to do more traveling and more mural painting.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined couch surfing in 2008 when my son was just 3 years old. I was looking for a way to make travel more affordable for my family.
Now that my son is grown - I’m looking for opportunities to paint murals all over. I believe couch surfing could be a great place to accomplish that goal.

Artist Statement:
I find many things to be inspirational, but I have learned that God will most often use His own creation when speaking to my soul. To hear the voice of God whispering in a breeze, birds rejoicing in praise; to see the beauty in a field of flowers, and know that their vast number is a reflection of the joy God felt while creating them. This divine inspiration, is what my heart craves on a daily basis.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I’m pretty proud about having homeschooled my son through the 8th grade. It’s been one of my greatest joy to watch him grow into the amazing young man that he is today.

I’ve facilitated a number of creative community collaborations, and I’ve taught adult workshops and kids art for our local Boys & Girls Club.
I paint murals, draw illustrations, create graphic design, and fiber art.
