Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
I thought about this a lot while hitch-hiking alone. Goal 1: learn to bake bread and pastries real good. Goal 2: learn about collectives and activist projects Goal 3: Improve my French and Spanish skills Goal 4: meet interesting people and see cool stuff
ABOUT ME
My name is Carrie. I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. I live in a house with five adults, two kids, seven chickens and a cat (plus our friendly backyard raccoon, Rusty). I work as a cook and baker at a collectively run cafe, and as a bus driver for a program that distributes free organic food to people in need.
I love learning new things, which I think is the main reason I love traveling. I am easygoing and love to meet people, but I can be very shy.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I am traveling around in Europe, and looking for places to stay and people to meet. My itinerary is mostly France, but I am hoping to visit Spain and Belgium a bit as well. When I get home to Minneapolis I would love to host couch surfers--showing people around my hometown is one of my favorite things to do!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've slept on plush couches, hard couches, long couches, short couches, two-people-one-couches, and many a floor. My favorite times are when there are good people to stay up late talking to, and places where the sunlight wakes me up in the morning.

I once played a game where your friends list all of your "interests" for you. Here's what my friends think I'm interested in: baking, drawing, Thai Boxing, activism, math, camping, crafts, games, sci-fi/fantasy, climbing, and eating.
