ABOUT ME

I am half french, half english, grew up in belgium and been living in england now for about 10 years....currently living in Norwich working on a PhD in development studies. I love being outdoors, especially being by the coast, in the mountains or in a forest and generally exploring new places... I used to live in London and enjoyed discovering it by bike. I travelled quite a lots around Europe, and I would love to go visit more places. My favourite way to travel is by train or ferry especially overnight and I wish there were more options to travel this way and the place I want to go to the most at the moment is Madagascar or the Peruvian Amazon...but its just a dream at the moment!

PHILOSOPHY

currently on planet earth so may as well make the most of it... enjoy it, make things better and value the things that are important, family, friends, love... never give up.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

....many great moments spent in the Calanques near Marseille, like walking up Mont Puget in the middle of the night on my birthday and waiting, huddling together for warmth until sunrise, running (or sliding) back down....in time for breakfast and lectures. Sailing holidays, snorkelling....seeing lots of weird and wonderful creatures in the sea
....exploring the fjords and forests of southern Chile, seeing Macchu Pichu appear beneath us and the silhouettes of tiny people climbing up the side of another mountain towering above us
....hearing the sounds of the rainforest at sunrise... quiet and then almost deafening sounds, calls and chants of insects, birds, monkeys.
