About Me

Don't count the miles you cover, but the new people you meet

I am the globe trotter, 14 countries in 2.5 years and looking forward to make them 17+ before the end of 2014 - I relocated 6 times in the last 3 years Stuttgart, London, San Francisco, Magdeburg, Seattle and back to Magdeburg - and now back to Seattle.

I love to visit interesting/crazy places, attend diverse events from Antitapas in Brussels to any crazy events anywhere in the globe, meeting new people and exchanging all the lost-in-the-jungle stories is the thing I look for the most as I travel around.

I believe I can enjoy everything from partying like crazy to visiting museums (something I never thought I can enjoy) and I believe everybody is awesome in their own way :)

I'm a fresh grad software engineer at Microsoft, still living students' life ;-)

Party hard - work smart - repeat

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I am open to hosting, surfing and meeting new people everywhere I go.

Positive (Y)

I met many folks through CS almost everywhere I went to, I also surfed and hosted awesome folks. Everyone I met is so awesome and super kind. Even when I visit cities in which I have friends to host me I use CS to meet new folks because of the awesome experience I get each time I meet people through CS.

Travelling, meeting new people, partying, hanging out, swimming, walking, biking, squash, soccer, road trips, relaxing on the beach, exploring new stuff and places, having drinks with friends while exchanging interesting stories and incidents and all the crazy new stuff.

Music, Movies & Books

Movies: Comedy and Action. Like Due Date, Hangover, The Rock, Die Hard, ... many movies

Music: Almost every type of music. Depending on the mood, can be stuff similar to David Guetta, Rihanna, Cold Play, Linkin Park, One Republic, chill out music, ... any - it's really difficult for me not to like any type of music unless it's death metal or very hard beats without any music :D

Books: I am more into watching documentaries. I would love to be a reader one day.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Skydiving in Sacramento, CA

Getting lost in the French alps in a car with a friend for 6 hours. The GPS asking us to jump over the mountain. We went on the most dangerous ways 2.5 KM above sea level inside the clouds. Finally we made it to our destination in 6 hours instead of 30 min :D

Winning the 1st place in RoboCup 2010 in Singapore in the Festo Logistics League. A moment to remember forever after 4 months of hectic work :)

Travelling from Mannheim to Cairo (a ~4 hours trip) in 30 hours during the volcano of Iceland in 2010. 6 trains to Rome airport then a plane to Luxor then a plane to Cairo. Every trip afterwards became short and easy :D

Antitapas party in Brussels.

Alps, Paris, NY, Vegas and LA.
