I'm somebody who has always wanted to travel, and now I'm finally at a place where I'm ready to move out of my parents house and I want to get the chance to visit as many places as possible. I'm an open minded individual and can get along with anybody given the time to. I'm the kind of person who is skeptical but ultimately trusting of people, and I hope that others can view me in a similar light when getting to know me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of meeting new people where they are the most themselves, at home! I think that being in someone's home will make my travels more fun seeing as whoever I stay with will know what to do in and area more than I would on my own. I also like the potential of adding my own value to someone's life so that my travels aren't just me going from place to place without purpose, but instead a meaningful experience that changes the lives of me and my hosts.

Interests

I have many more than what I could think of on the surface. Really I enjoy anything that I have the time and space to do and it's a bonus when I have other people to explore my interests with, and hopefully through that I can pick up new interests I never would have thought of.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is anything! (to a limit) but I really enjoy rock, metal, and hip hop. Instead of list out each band I would rather share my music in person when the moment is right. Books I read a lot of include anything by Phillip k Dick for starters. In addition any sci-fi is right up my alley. I enjoy beyond that a wide range of philosophy, and who could leave out lord of the rings really? And as an afterthought my favorite book is Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. (probably encouraged me to travel). Movies are something I don't watch to often anymore, but I do love to sit back and watch a classic on a rainy day with friends. My very favorite is star wars (the originals of course). But just like books any sci-fi is going to do me right.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recent thing was going to Bonnaroo in Tennessee. It was a huge music festival and a first for me on many levels. It was a great time, and one of the best moments was getting to the gate with a beer in my bag and being told I couldn't take it in. But the volunteer told me I could chug it, so what could I do? I chugged it with a whole line chanting "chug,chug,chug". It was something else and camping for four days will really get you used to the smell of others!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not quite sure what this section is for, but I would love to cook in a kitchen anywhere! I've recently fallen in love with cooking and would love a space to practice and share what I learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking is something I would love to bring. It won't be perfect, but I can promise that I aim to learn and develop my skill. I also offer positive energy. It may sound silly but I think a good mindset goes a long way and I intend to go the extra mile!
