I've done a few long solo trips already, 3-months in Europe in 2024 and 4-months in South America in 2025. On these trips, I primarily used Worldpackers to meet and help support people in local communities, but I'm hoping to branch out to Couchsurfers while in Italy for shorter-term trips. Possibly bicycle trips.
