I am a student studying abroad in Geneva Switzerland. I grew up in a small rural town in the United States (Iowa specifically). I am very interested in exploring the urban areas and the outdoors throughout Europe while I am here. In the United States I am studying to be a physiotherapist. I arrived in Geneva in the middle of August and I am very new to CS but I have heard some amazing stories about choosing CS. Unfortunately since we live in university apartments we cannot offer a place to stay (our apartment is unbelievably cramped anyways!)We look forward to swapping some good stories and laughs. We would be extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn about our hosts, and the places that they call home!

I am looking into couch surfing because I think it sounds more interesting than the conventional way of traveling with hostels or hotels. I am also interested in gaining a deeper knowledge of the places that I stay, and I believe that living with a local host is one of the best opportunities I would have to do that.

I listen to all different types of music, and recently I have been getting into more educational reading. One book called "The Big Picture" and another called "The Checklist Manifesto." I am also a big fan of Dan Brown books (The Da Vinci Code).

My taste is all over the place with movies. Recently I have watched a movie called Room which was a very good drama, but I also really enjoy action movies and comedies.

I went on an amazing road trip with my brother through Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons. My experience traveling in Europe has also been quite amazing to me.
