I love learning about new cultures and meeting new people (the weirder, the better!), so I try to attempt some kind of solo travel abroad once a year. I am very respectful of different cultures and I love discussing my own crazy country. I like to laugh and have a good time and I don't take myself too seriously, but I am also a very good listener and love deep conversations with people I just met. To get a better sense of me, I was voted 'Class Clown', but also won the citizenship award (helping others) in high school.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few awesome bands and people traveling through CT, but Connecticut is not a huge destination so I don't get as many requests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surprisingly I had only hosted up until 2018 where I went to Japan in July and stayed with 3 people, all amazing folks! I can't wait to couhsurf again!

I love all kinds of music, especially if I can dance to it. Right now I'm reading a lot of comics, Neil Gaiman's Sandman and Skotty Young's I Hate Fairyland. For movies, I like a lot of different stuff. My favorites last year were Patti Cake$ and the Shape of Water.

I won a trip to Antarctica in 2010! It was the coolest experience and I even sewed my husband and I penguin costumes to wear for the greatest pictures ever. I went sea kayaking and camping there and made some lifelong friends.
