ABOUT ME

I'm a man of many moods and desires; things that please me today will irritate me tomorrow. I am without the ability to accurately describe myself, and there are very few people who I have encountered that could give you a completely accurate description of who and what I am. I suppose the one common element in my crazy life has been the fact that I do not suffer tedium. This inability has led to quite a few poor decisions in my life, but I feel that it is not in Man's best interest to watch the world go by as he does the same thing over and over again. I may not accomplish all I set out to do in this life, but I have to make an effort to live and not simply exist.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is about moving, and experiences. There is too much life and wonder in the world to keep yourself confined to one small neighborhood, be it your house, city, state or country. There is too much to see and too many interesting people to meet. I refuse to let plans or inconveniences bog my life down; this world is a gift, and it's a curse to die without seeing it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not much yet. Just recently discovered this site, but it has captured my attention, and would like to participate in any way I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have borrowed a few couches in Florida, Georgia, Texas and the Bahamas, and it's always been a learning experience. It's amazing how you can know someone for years, but until you spend significant time with them in close quarters, you still know very little.

兴趣

Many. Writing, reading, learning, teaching, arguing! I am always up for a good debate, from the smallest of matters to the most important philosophical questions of our time, I always have an opinion to share. I don't feel I am always right, but you need to make a point to change my mind. I love being creative, I love thinking and being challenged. I haven't been pursuing my interests strongly lately, as many things are changing in my world, but I never forget what I need to do.

I have an eclectic taste in all the arts. It's hard to pick a favorite in any of them, but I do have my special selections. In movies, I would say: Life Is Beautiful, The Good The Bad & The Ugly, GoodFellas and The Wizard Of Oz; in books: Around The World In Eighty Days, The Hobbit, The Prince and The Machinery Of Freedom; in music, I like a little bit of everything, but mainly island music Soca and Calypso.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I drove from Dallas,TX to Ft. Lauderdale, FL by myself. It was a long drive, but it was very interesting. Spending that much time on the road by yourself is an experience, for sure.

I went to culinary school, so I know how, and love to cook. If you need any help in that area, I am more than willing to help out. Learning is an ongoing thing for me; anything you have to teach, I am willing to listen.
