Yoga instructor and Uber driver in the Dallas area. I have Kundalini, Restorative, and Therapeutic yoga certifications. I am currently studying Ayurveda at Yoga Spirit Academy in Tulsa which brings me to Oklahoma about once a month.
I love animals, but especially cats and lizards. So if you have either of them or something cool like a snake, I think we'll get along great!

My favorite movie is Yes Man. Besides that I like about anything, but especially B Thrillers.

These days I'm reading books about Ayurvedic Medicine.

Becoming a yoga instructor.
It might not seem like a big accomplishment to most people, but it's a huge leap from where I started.
I've spent most of my life as a geeky, sedentary science/computer girl who spent most of her time looking into a computer screen.
In my mid-40s, I attended a Kundalini yoga class out of accidental curiosity. I was immediately hooked. I got certified and have never looked back.

My skills in yoga. Also, I've been practicing making Kitcharie and ghee. My kitcharie is still pretty bland, but I'm quite proud of my ghee.
I love gardening, but don't get to do a lot of it these days. I like the idea of homesteading and living off the land. Right now I'm studying Ayurvedic Medicine, so I'm learning about herbalism, natural remedies, and how to eat locally/seasonally.
