About Me

I am definitely an optimist, and tend to see the good in people. I am flexible, adaptable, and feel comfortable in most situations. I LOVE to laugh and have random adventures.

Current obsessions include lemon goji berry water, white patio lights, Joseph Boyden, and audio books of all kinds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is pretty great. Whenever i go on a trip and couch surf, it ends up being a highlight. I feel so fortunate to have met such lovely people and have created many good memories with them. Hosting people is equally wonderful and i enjoy being a part of other travelers adventures! I feel like i have friends all over the world because of couch surfing- ones that i have already met and many more that i will meet in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love anything by Mary Oliver, Anne Lamott, and Elizabeth Lesser.

The lumineers and Joseph are favs right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun rise over the Grand Canyon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love Edmonton, and i would love to show you around Edmonton!! There is usually a festival of some sort going on and it is nice to check them out. I am also always up for adventures and trying new things.

I can teach you how to cook or bake something, practice english (if it is your second language) or we can hula hoop in the park. When people are curious or want to learn about being a vegan, i like talking about my experience and why it is a good choice for me.

I would love to learn how to say "thank-you", "beautiful", and "delicious" in as many languages as possible. I'm always interested in learning how to cook different ethnic foods.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, India, Jamaica, Lesotho, Mexico, Mozambique, New Zealand, Saint Martin (French part), South Africa, Swaziland, United States
