ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Carys currently at the University of Portsmouth for 3 years, I love travelling and exploring new places not just lounging on the beach for weeks at a time. I'm really outgoing and enjoy doing anything from visiting a Museum to hiking and clubbing/pubbing. I study international relations and love keeping up with politics (I make it fun however). I'm especially interested in the Middle East and plan to visit the whole region, having done Turkey, Israel and Palestine so far. I've lived in different countries my whole and speak different languages, I'm a massive mix of cultures and can get along with anyone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to get to know more people who love travelling and having new experiences and this is one of the best places to do it as everyone seems to be open-minded and fun. Its also a great way to travel cheap and experience culture more. I'm not just into looking for a place to stay for free, but really enjoy meeting new people and learning from them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met many people whislt living abroad through couchsurfing and have been hosted along with two of my friends.

Basically all music from Bachata to heavy metal. I also love folk music and music specific to that country.

Massive cinema lover!! I enjoy watching films and love being introduced to new films which I would later become obsesses with....

I relish reading books about history and mythology.

I like learning about different countries that I probably had never thought about visiting before or showing me things from a different perspective. My curiosity drives me!

Good food, interesting conversations and a lot of laughter! I love sharing stories and am an open person who really loves learning. Super adventurous and clumsy... I have lots of funny stories...

I don't have many talents... I can sing. But I make up for it with my wit and humour!
