ABOUT ME

I've spent the past year working for a charity but along with my boyfriend, I've now quit my job and will be travelling Mexico for the next three months with him!

I'm sociable and energetic - always looking to hear new stories and experience new things. I'm happy to be with anybody really, I enjoy meeting all sorts of people.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

To better understand cultures & make international friends - one of the best things about travelling is knowing people in every part of the world, that in a few years time you can go back an visit. I don't think you can say that you've been to a country unless you begin to appreciate its values, its history & traditions.

I'm also hoping to improve my Spanish. I have an intermediate level at the moment but really keen to improve quickly so that I can enjoy Mexico properly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted once before and before that I couchsurfed in Poland. Both times have been really beneficial to me and I know that its such a special way to explore a country.

Interessen

Music lover - I enjoy a lot of different music, from hip hop to house to jazz to West African.
Languages & politics form a big part of my life as well. I'm a pretty thoughtful person so enjoy exploring other peoples philosophies and viewpoints. I've spent a lot of time volunteering for homeless charities at home and abroad.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I lived in Senegal for 4 months teaching English - it was an incredible country and the most I feel I've integrated abroad. I improved my French but also learnt the local language called Wolof. I made a lot of friends and learnt so much about such a different culture.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'd like to keep learning more languages, even if its only the basics of a new one. I'm not sure if I'm wise enough to teach anything yet - we'll see though!
