ABOUT ME

I come from Somerset, in England. It's beautiful, peaceful, hosts the best music festival ever, is full of lovely people- but isn't very multicultural. I see travelling as the only way to really understand other cultures and the human world, and so work out how we can improve it. I love to have fun, always want to try new things and most of all challenge myself.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm a student living in halls, so can't really have people to stay (I have no couch and I'm not allowed visitors!) But in the holidays I live in Somerset, and would love to show people around- I might have a spare couch there too. I'd also love to meet people visiting Oxford- coffee/drink/tour are all on offer!
I'm travelling in Lebanon/Syria/Turkey this summer and really want to meet some couchsurfers in those countries, to tell me about the culture and show me around, as I'll probably be on my own. A couch would also be fantastic : )

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to official couch surfing. On my gap year I did have some unofficial experiences though... such as on my first day in Thailand being stranded on the Burmese border at midnight, and being rescued by a Catholic youth group who put me up... Experiences like that are always the most special.

Intereses

I'm pretty passionate about my university course- politics, philosophy and economics, and like talking about those subjects. I volunteer, draw, and love walking in the countryside.
