About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being, in all senses of the word.
ABOUT ME
I'm a teacher in my mid 40's, stepped off the main conveyor of careers some years ago and I now work as an outdoor and first aid instructor teaching mountaineering and group leadership. I live on a narrowboat with my lovely wife and we spend as much time in the outdoors and travelling as we can.
PHILOSOPHY
Do as you would be done to, consider the beauty in all things, live simply.
Interests
Simplicity, beauty, light, peace and many forms of music grab my attention. I'm involved in a whole range of travel and outdoor sports including kayaking and sailing as well as the mountain sports. I train in Aikido, a Japanese martial art that emphasises harmony and balance rather than breaking things! I love to cook and eat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My children - obviously - beyond that the first sight of Yosemite valley when I visited for the first time over 25 years ago, the sight of Everest from the summit of Ama Dablam which I climbed on my own above camp 1 in 2006, and the moment I met my wife.
