Interests

I am a big fan of music, thats why I work as music journalist. I started listening to Hiphop and Rock, but my taste expanded in the last years.

I am interested in political developments and the backgrounds of societies.
I like grassroot changes, and i a interested in social movements and their impact.

I like reading and inspite of the digital revolution I still collect books and records. I read a lot of non-fiction, but also fiction.

Since 2009 when I spent one year in Mexico I became a big fan of Latin America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A very unplanned and spontaneous road trip from Oaxaca to Chiapas in Mexico. We were looking for a bus and found a guy who wanted to share his ride. His car ( a pick up truck, 3 of us had to sit in the back between surfboards) was older than me and we passed the mexican countryside ending up in a storm in the middle of nowhere and had to hold his surfboards so they would not fly away. When taking a break, we saw a double rainbow. Even though this does not sound very relaxing the whole feeling of beeing on the road was very special.

Beeing in Tepito, the black market of Mexico City, where they sell everthing - EVERYTHING. It is a quarter where people tell you not to go to, but at the sametime its also the place for society drop-outs where everybody is respected. It was a very unique experience, since it was the least turistic place I have been to in Mexico.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a big couch, but only an appartment with one room. So we would sleep in the same room. But for a short stay, there will not be a problem.
