Hello, I am a 21 year old college student who loves to travel, but also has to travel off a poor college budget. I am from Lake Geneva, WI and go to college at University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am a biochemistry/molecular biology major and a double minor in psychology and Spanish for Health Professions.

I love while traveling to meet up with the locals, and I normally am not a fan of paying outrageous amount of money for a hotel that I am just sleeping in. Couchsurfing is the best way to meet the locals, and if I don't couchsurfing I will normally stay at a hostel to meet up with other people. However being a solo traveler sometimes the hostels are a little overwhelming and prefer couchsurfing.

I LOVE rock, I listen to old rock, new rock all types of rock. I listen to a lot of the pop Top 40's, rap, and a little country. I love to read non-fiction books about the economy (I know boring) and also about medical school, and life as a surgeon. As for movies I love the classic disney movies to the action, horror are always a good choice and then the romantic comedies are always fun for girls night.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing I have done, well I am a very advertourous girl I love hiking and doing anything that is outdoors. Well me and one of my friends who was stationed in Hawaii and two of his marine friends were going for a hike in Oahu Hawaii, well we got lost due to a previous person switching the color markers on the trail, and what we intended our 4 hour hike turned out to being lost in the ridges and mountains of Hawaii for 16 hours. One of the Marine friends who was with us was starting to go into shock in the last hour prior to being rescued by the rescue helicopter and thankfully for my EMT and basic nursing knowledge I was able to treat him with the equipment I had and he made it safe to the hospital healthy and alive. We all made it off the mountain alive with just minor injuries.

I do a lot of tutoring at my campus, mainly in science and math topics. Biology, Anatomy & chemistry is what I tutor in. I am always up to learn a new language or help teach some English!

My life is very different from the average person, at least one time during the day I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off, my friends all laugh at me and question how I survive college. I am a very intelligent person, but slightly unorganized and clumsy. So I love to tell stories, have a good laugh, social drink. I am a great cook and baker, so I would totally be open to making a family dinner!
