I'm a 28 year old kid at heart who wants nothing more than to see the world before I get too old! I am going through a phase of my life where I just really want to start loving life and living for every day. I've already graduated college, worked for 5 years and I'm ready to do something else.

I have an awesome husband who supports my wanderlust and will either travel with me or support me from home. We are proud dog parents to a 5 year old Corgi named Ranger and a 1 year old Boston Terrier named Brady. No human babies as of yet.

I am an avid reader and lover of music. Suggest something and I will probably check it out. I also love being outdoors, running and hanging out with good people. I love to eat and try local favourites and I am also a fan of craft beer.

I will also confess that I am actually quite introverted and I'm looking for ways to become more adventurous....this is a great place to start, right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to finally start going on adventures! I have heard that this service is reliable and makes the dreams of Wanderlust a reality, so I am willing to give it a try. I would also love to host people from other parts of the country or from other parts of the world to learn and share together in each other's cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a lover of Blues, Americana, Hiphop, and many things in between for music! I am an avid reader, but my favorite author of all time is Neil Gaiman. My favorite movie is The Princess Bride, followed in a close second by Hook. Movies for honorable mention include: The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Fifth Element, LOTR Trilogy, The Emperor's New Groove, O Brother, Where Art Thou? and anything by Wes Anderson.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The only thing I'm allergic to, food wise, is Mint or Menthol. I also either travel by myself, with my husband, or with my best mate Misty. I occasionally will travel with my dog, Ranger, who has his own travel kennel for sleeping.
