I'm a laid back young professional who is looking to expand my travels. I love music, playing guitar, golf, hockey, snowboarding, being goofy, the beach, mountains, a good cigar, and connecting with people. I initially joined so I could find somewhere to stay in Kansas City for my first solo trip to a concert. Wound up finding a great host, going to the show and had an amazing time with him and his friends afterwards. I haven’t surfed since but just bought a Jeep and am looking to road trip around the country so I’ll will be doing a lot more Couchsurfing in the near future.

To meet new people of different backgrounds and view new places through the lenses of the locals. I’ve begun saving more for world travel so I’m hoping to further involve myself in the Couchsurfing community.

Music: I listen to just about anything when it comes to music but here are a few faves: John Mayer, Dave Matthews, The Eagles, City and Colour. I promise, the playlists on my iPhone would surprise you. Play some new music for me, I love to discover new bands.

Movies: I love documentaries! A few traditional favorites: Gladiator, Shawshank Redemption, Big Fish, 300, The Last Samurai, Sandlot, Dumb and Dumber, Wedding Crashers, Interstellar. What's your favorite movie?

Books: I've just recently started digging into books in the past few years. Daring Greatly by Brene Brown has changed my outlook in life.
