ABOUT ME

I recently moved to New York with my girlfriend and teach middle school science at a charter school in Brooklyn. Never living in a large city before, I am adapting slowly to the bustle of New York life. I love the local feel of many NY neighborhoods and enjoy exploring new spots during my free time.

Not hosting yet as I live in a small space in Brooklyn but hoping to start couch surfing on my trip out West this summer.

I have been hosted by a few great surfers and look forward to meeting new friends.

Interests

I enjoy doing anything outdoors, especially hiking and climbing new areas. Hitting up local breweries and brew pubs are one of my favorite things to do while traveling around a new city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to spend last summer in the High Sierras working in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Not only did I get to enjoy my summer working with many great new friends but was given the opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful and remote areas of our country.
