HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I came to Israel and I'm surrounded by Americans! So, I want to surf around to see how Israelis see Israel. What they think of the smells, the sounds, the foods. I want to walk around, hang out, and eat great (kosher) food!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've heard about surfin' in the states, but haven't really utilized it. Now that I'm in Israel, I want to use it to meet new people, and really see what this place is like!

So, I'm not too much of a reader. But I love movies that make me laugh, make me think and, most importantly, keep me awake.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a summer living in a small village in Uganda. I met a girl who was abandoned by her mother after her father died from AIDS. When I met her, she was six. We went together, at the end of my trip, to the AIDS clinic to have her tested for HIV because I couldn't stand leaving the country knowing that there was something that I could have done. She's taught me more about life from 6 years of experience than I've gained in 21 years.
