ABOUT ME

I have grown into various incarnations in my ever less brief time here in the world but am essentially a big kid at heart. My favorite moments are spent smoking on good stoops with old or new friends, strumming chords or staring off into the sky discussing pseudo-philosophical topics.

The latest version of me is bound for New York, where I plan to focus on adventuring and creative endeavors after having done an office job for awhile.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't let fear get in the way of experience if you can help it. And also, some words from a poet I met on the street in downtown LA sum it up pretty well:

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I keep the traveler spirit alive by trying to hold onto it. When I have a couch, I'll be happy to share it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Worst couch-surfing experience ever: missing a really big amazing new year's eve celebration and passing out to a Wilco DVD on a random person's couch. Not that there's anything wrong with Wilco, but I heard many good tales of the party.

Weirdest couch surfing experience ever: waking up in a house made of tires where lives a little old lady and her husband who write books about knitting and are devout fans of German industrial metal band Rammstein.

Interesses

Interest number one is music. Learning to be really good at guitar and composing. Still got some work ahead of me but getting better all the time. Other than than, reading, writing, philosophy, good beer and coffee, programming.
