About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd be lying if I say it's not about money but that's just partially true because one of my biggest goal while travelling is not seeing as many tourist attractions as possible (even though I'm interested in these things as well) but meeting interesting people with good stories and lots of experience. I wanna share my adventures with them, meet local people and have a good time with them. I realized during backpacking in Southeast Asia, that I would like to spend more time with locals, rather than only with backpackers, which wasn't that easy due to the language barrier
Interests
I've been playing handball, a sport which is internationally not very famous since I came back from Africa, so for the last 10 years. I love movies and there is nearly no kind of music that I don't like (If it is well done of course :D ) I'm deeply in love with the nature, always in search for a mountain to ski or hike, a reef to dive, a beautiful sunset to watch, the silent of a cave or the middle of a jungle and you can always convince me for an adventure somewhere in nowhere!

Music, Movies, and Books
Like I said before I love all I kind of Music from the Doors, Orishas, D12 to Louis Prima, Benny Goodman and System of a Down. To mention a few...
Well there occurs the same problem, too many good one. But I do love movies so when we meet up we can talk about movies for hours.
I'm not as much in to books as music or movies but I do also read from timt to time, mostly German Authors. Two of my favorite are Hermann Hesse or Max Frisch (Siddhartha, Der Steppenwolf, Homo faber, Meine Name sei Gantenbein) but I've also been spending my childhood in Harry Potter
I'm very interested in philosophical literature such as "Jenseits von Gut und Böse: Warum wir ohne Moral die besseren Menschen sind" (=Beyond Good and Evil: Why we are a better person without morals) or Kants zum ewigen Frieden (=Kant's writings on Perpetual Peace)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Drove through Vietnam on bike for a month even tough before I bought the bike I've never sat on anything that could drive and has a motor - and we shouldn't start talking about something such as a driving licence...
