CURRENT MISSION

Travelling with my girlfriend. Have been waiting and saving a long time for this moment, but we're in the middle of it. Fantastic. Almost in Oz, which is our current mission.

ABOUT ME

I don't mind talking about myself, though I am more interested in listening to other people's story. I guess that's why I've done the Social Work Bachelor. I think we've got a beautiful but also unfair world. I'd like to get more experience by travelling, and use these experiences to expand some people's possibilities.

I'm a relaxed guy in general. Positive, joyful, social, active.

PHILOSOPHY

That's a tough one, because it's always moving, changing. So maybe that's my philosophy: keep looking in new directions. Don't narrow your sight, don't stagnate your development. Keep moving, thinking. Keep sharing, but don't forget about your own needs. Love life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been staying for a week at a host in Darwin, DeafnCrazy. Great experience. Met a couple of other couchsurfers as well. Cool!

兴趣

Music is my main interest. I've been drumming for ten years in several bands now. I like the process of making new stuff, I like performing it. I love playing drums, the dynamics of it are lovely.
I haven't been travelling long. At the moment I'm on my first real trip. I enjoy nature the most when I'm doing something with. Snowboarding, (mountain)biking, swimming, climbing, that kind of stuff. I want to learn surfing as well.

音乐、电影和书籍

I can always listen to reggae music, and lots of other genres actually. It's more about the deepness of things, when it comes to my personal taste about music. Melancholic, original, creative, soulful..it has to be real I suppose. The last year I've mostly listened to Fleet Foxes, Patrick Watson, Groundation, Èels, Peaking Lights.

I can learn anybody about communication. I can let people talk who don't share their secrets with anyone, just because I'm interested in the other one's story. Honestly interested.
And I can give anyone a basic drum lesson: no drums required, just some time and hands and stuff to hit!

I'd like to learn surfing (the waves that is), and I'd like to hear everyone's story, for the further widening of my vision.
