Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Man on the Moon, anything with superheroes (Watchmen is my favourite I must admit)
Books: I read anything. Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Aldous Huxley, Sartre, George Orwell, Nietzsche, Douglas Hofstadter, Ayn Rand, Oscar Wilde. Nothing can beat Gravity's Rainbow though.

- Seeing a Delta IV Heavy launch from the beach at Cape Canaveral at 3AM
- Backpacking through Scotland and experiencing a large storm from a tent on the top of a mountain
