Born in Amsterdam about 33 years ago, I am a mixed bag of youthly playfullness and old peoples worry about where the world is going. Though with a happy predisposition. Like to talk and act upon making the world more loving and less money driven. For me nature and art (both in their broadest sence), slowing down, gift economy, sport and play are key.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have had the privilege to travel a lot and couchsurfing was such a wonderful way to meet people, share a roof and stories. Now my partner and I have a spare room in the attic and it would be an honor to host guests, especially those who are curious about live in Amsterdam.

Truth to be told, we will be a bit picky. We are not hosting people who want to party all the time or are in Amsterdam for 1 night or just to smoke weed. Of course, it needs to match our schedule a bit too. Also, since we are planning a big cycling and volunteering trip towards Eastern Europe, Turkey and Georgia, we prefer to host people from those countries so we get to exchange tips, tricks and -who knows - hospitality. Yet, you can always try your luck if you're an amazing person that coïncidentally is from somewhere else. Oh, and you will have a comfortable guest bed upstairs.
