About Me

I was born in California but traveled most of my adolescence with my family (U.S. only). My mom was a bit of a gypsy so we never stayed put too long. Its safe to say I inherited my curious spirit from my mother. I am one of the least judgmental people you'll ever meet and I am always looking to have a good time. I don't want the cookie cutter experience. I am looking for the local experience. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a new traveler looking for authentic experiences in each city I visit. I am always on board for good music, drinks, food and new people. I love to make life long friends and see new sights. I could stay in a hotel but who wants to do that when I could get to know locals!

Interests

I love animals and the outdoors, add music to the mix and I'm in heaven. I love to read, everything and I especially love good food (Although I am a terrible cook) I am most interested in learning from others, I learn through experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all genres of music...everything from Chuck Berry to Metallica, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra and of course the all famous "American" hip-hop. I grew up moving a lot so I like pretty much everything.
Movie tastes are usually action or comedy, I'm not a huge fan of the traditional "love story", I'd rather laugh.
Favorite books: The Four Agreements, Incredibly Close and Extremely Loud, The Giver, 1984.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm still doing it

Teach, Learn, Share

I went to school for liberal arts to be a teacher (history), I also went to school to be a diesel mechanic neither of which I have ever applied to my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a unusually positive outlook on the world and on people. I can share my friends and family in the U.S. should they make their way out!

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
