My dog and I are taking a long meandering road trip for three or four months (maybe more). I worked in an office setting for two years and was absolutely miserable and since leaving there I have found joy in working at a bakeshop! I have a degree in English Literature and am a huge book worm, love yoga, watching and discussing movies, and trying new things. I have two mottoes in life: 1) It could always be worse. 2) You can't say you don't like something until you try it.

I have never really been anywhere outside of Central Texas and am looking to meet new people from different backgrounds and cultures. In my attempt to see more of the country I would like to zip line in every state I visit, give back in any way that I can, and have meaningful interactions with those I meet on this journey.

I will read anything really! From Confessions of a Shopaholic to Devil in the White City to Beautiful Creatures. I love being transported and captivated no matter the genre.

I don't consider myself very current in regards to knowing about new music. However I am looking forward to getting recommendations from people I stay with to hear what fills their ears! Many of my current favorite music comes from my sister's Spotify. I'd love to make a playlist of every person's favorite song while Im making this journey!

Favorite movie: Dazed and Confused, Jennifer's Body, The Hills Have Eyes, Atonement, Roman Holiday
I love movies as much as I love books! Cheesy horror is my favorite/go guilty pleasure.

I am also obsessed with podcasts of many different genres.

I have a nerve syndrome that causes me to be in pain very frequently; it also effects my joints causing occasional dislocations. I have never let this prevent me from following my dreams and having a positive attitude.
