COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS MADE my first solo venture the summer of 2012. I met amazing friends, and I'm a huge fan.

Interests

I'm a sucker for a good conversation. I've been known to miss class or "things" because I was too busy chatting to notice time passing or (more likely) too interested to care about extraneous things in the moment. I'm quite sure most of my best times are spent in beautiful places. I dig the desert. And podcasts. And taking photos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once sat like a freakin' mermaid on the rocks watching the sun rise over the Indian Ocean off the coast of Madagascar.
Orthodox Easter celebrations on the Greek island of Chios had me running under rocket fire, jumping over and hiding behind walls--all for fun. Like a great Byzantine video game, man.
Cups of tea, rides from strangers, Arabic translations between students in class, hair clips lent on hot days--nice people amaze me all the time.
Traveling solo.
