I moved from San Francisco, California to Madrid to be an English teaching assistant for the community of Madrid. I'm laid-back, curious, a tad bit awkward, and generally open to trying new things. I have lived in Madrid for nearly two months and feel I have an incredible amount to learn. I find myself constantly excited to experience new traditions and explore new cities in a place that is so far from home.

I'd like to meet people who have a love for their city and who might be willing to tell me a little bit about the culture and lifestyle of the area. I am also on a teacher's budget so traveling economically is my goal for this year. I would like to go everywhere and see everything and often this is much more enjoyable with other people, specifically locals who are willing to share their experiences and their couches :)
