I'm a 25 year old who loves exploring, travel and adventure much more than my wallet does. I love meeting new people and having new experiences so I am the proud owner of my very own Meetup group where I get to meet new people all the time. I work as a lab tech. right now and am about to start school part-time to receive a biotechnology certification to increase my career opportunities. I am positive, social, and enjoying life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like I said in the "about me" section, I absolutely love traveling but I hate being held back by money. Couch surfing is a win-win because travel is significantly cheaper AND I get to meet amazing people who are all look for other amazing people to get to know. My sister introduced me to this form of travel and I have heard high reviews from her.

Interests

I am mostly interested in outdoor activities, two of my favorites being backpacking and snow skiing, but I pretty much enjoy anything outdoors. I also love children, chill nights hanging out with friends, and have been known to play a video game or two with my boyfriend. Oh, and I love coffee, wine, and cheese... which I'm sure is something you would find out about me immediately.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite artist is Jason Mraz but I'm also in love with Eric Hutchinson, Ed Sheeran, Ray LaMontagne, James Morrison, and Jack Johnson. My favorite movies are Pride and Prejudice, Finding Nemo, Peter Pan, and Up. And last, but not least, my two favorite books have been Ender's Game and The Giver.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I can't credit myself with this and it is not nearly as impressive as hiking through the mountains, but my mom, sister, and I went to Alaska and took a plane ride out into Denali National park and landed on a glacier. Denali was visible in front of me and it looked as if I could walk ten minutes and reach it! But alas, it was many, many miles away and I could only covet the idea of standing on the summit. The views were absolutely amazing and if I had one, huge, dangerous dream in life, it would be to go back and climb Denali one day.
