About Me

Hello lovely ones!

In my 27 years of life, I've never ventured outside of Australia... Well that all changes now!

Hearing from my friends and family about their life-changing overseas adventures has made me so excited to explore new cultures, form beautiful connections, and go on adventures of my own.

I am a weird human and always try to keep in touch with my inner-child. I love being out in nature and away from the craziness of life to recharge in solitude, but I also love socialising and meeting new people. After a glass of wine, I have been known to be the life of the party and participate in dance-offs!

I really love practicing self-care, challenging myself, and building habits that support my physical and emotional health. I find that I thrive the most when I am helping others, so two years ago, I quit my job in sales/retail to study social support work, and I have been so much more fulfilled in life ever since!
If any of this resonates, please message me - I'd love to get to know you and connect with you along my path!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Throughout my childhood, I always lived a very sheltered life - fear was instilled into me from an early age by my parents, and for most of my life, I have let that guide many of my decisions. After many years, I now realise that I can decide whether I am going to let that fear keep controlling my life!

Recently, I have started saying "yes" to new experiences, and couchsurfing is one of them! So far, I have been amazed to see so many beautiful doors opening in my life because of this. I have started embracing uncertainty, feeling truly alive and empowered for the first time, and shifting strongly from once being fearful to now having my life more filled with positivity and adventure!

When I met my boyfriend Mo, he always told me about how much couchsurfing changed his life because of the beautiful, lifelong connections he made through this site. It has made me so excited to do the same by making new friends around the world as I continue saying 'yes'!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love listening to most genres, especially songs that have lyrics so that I can sing along! My favourite genres are Southern Gothic, Blues and Roots, Country, and Hip Hop! My favourite songs at the moment are: The Hop by Radio Citizen Bajka, Rumour has it by Adele, and Little Angel by Scott Dunbar. Ohhh and of course anything by the White Stripes!

Movies: I love re-watching movies from my childhood (that nostalgia feeling really gets me!), but I also really enjoy thriller and horror films. I spend more time watching documentaries, interviews and reality shows, though. My favourite reality show is Love on the Spectrum (a dating TV series for people with ASD), and for interviews, I love watching the Soft White Underbelly YouTube channel about people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Books: I love reading autobiographies, because I find it inspiring to learn about a person's greatest struggles and triumphs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lost all of my hair when I was twelve! It was pretty crazy to see it all disappear within just two weeks. Years later, I'm still bald but I absolutely love my head, it's so much fun wearing different wigs and also rocking the baldness!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you how to make a yummy Acai bowl

Learn: I would love to learn about the hidden gems in your city, your interests and what you love doing in your spare time, I'd love to join in with your hobbies and try new things!

Share: I would love to share a yoga practice with you or a karaoke session, you can choose!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughter, joy, food, and beer (if you drink!)

I can also teach you how to do yoga, and offer you a couch in Australia if you ever visit!
