I am a kind, courteous, and enthusiastic explorer, ready to work hard and play hard! I have a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, a Certificate in Environmental Education, and a lifetime of experience in client service, horsemanship, sales, non-profit fundraising, and outreach.

I travel with two canine companions, Po and Basil. Po is a 9 year old Basset Hound mix, and Basil is a 3 year old American Bulldog mix. Both are very friendly, happy, mellow, and animal/people-friendly (even with cats and children!)

I make good use of Spotify for finding new music, and enjoy new folk music especially. I don't watch many movies or tv, but I enjoy a good couch sesh every now and then - just no horror please! I enjoy reading fiction (fantasy especially), as well as nonfiction (self-betterment, anything nature/animals, memoirs, etc.)

My first flight was to Croatia, on my own. I traveled Europe for six weeks, and loved every second of it - including my CouchSurfing experiences!
