We have been dating for almost 9 years and with the foundation of a solid friendship, we find that we don't make others feel like a third wheel (uncomfortable) and really just love to laugh and have a good time talking with others.

Both from Texas and have a sense of southern hospitality and kindness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After reading multiple travel blogs, we found out about couchsurfing and think it is such a wonderful effort to help travelers worldwide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We first tried couchsurfing in Durango, CO and had a wonderful experience! We were able to ski and snowboard at Purgatory during the day and our host showed us all the local spots in the evening, even getting us a local discount in some places. We made a new friend and saw how rewarding couchsurfing can be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cassie:
Went in a solo volunteer trip to South Africa and Ghana where I worked in a primate sanctuary and orphanage.

Scott:
Traveled to Panama with a group of filmmakers/photographers. We captured beautiful sunrises by boat and wonderful starry nights on top of the islands.

Both:
Fly fishing by raft on the Rio Grande river in Colorado.

Teach, Learn, Share

Always looking to share our stories and hear those of others.
Cassie can teach some modern dance moves.
Scott can show you how to hold a handstand.
Both of us want to learn more languages and are eager to learn.
We also love learning about culture and the food associated with it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are clean, low maintenance guests with love to spare. Will buy you a drink and listen to what you have to say.
We may take a bit to open up fully, but we love meeting new people and trying new things!
