ABOUT ME

Let's see.. about me..
I enjoy doing just about anything as long as I'm in good company! I have just as much fun sittin' on a couch with friends and watching terrific (or terrible) movies as I have jumping out of planes or skiing down mountains at dangerously reckless speeds. Well, maybe not just as much fun, but close.
I can make a mean cappuccino. And a nice one.
I can sometimes do a handstand for longer than 3 seconds.
I can listen to a favorite song over and over and not get tired of it, but if the radio plays it over and over then suddenly I hate it.
I have a sometimes illogical aversion to the effect technology has on culture but I'm still reliant on and addicted to it.
I look at people who know how to play many instruments or speak multiple languages and wish I could do the same without any effort.
I get annoyed when people spell "a lot" as one word.
I wear jackets almost constantly, even in the summer.
I kinda fall in love with people who sing really, really good.
I am hopelessly addicted to lotion and Burt's Bees lip balm.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live life in the present, not looking back and saying "I wish.." or to the future and saying "what if...?" Abundant life is not found in fear or regret.

I'm new to this. I heard about it recently and was told it would be a great way to see the world and meet people, and I think I agree.

As for my couch, I wouldn't say that where I live is a very exciting place to travel to, but Dallas is cool and I could show you around there sometime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I slept for 14 hours straight. I thought that was pretty amazing. Then my friend said he'd once slept for 38 (or something) hours straight. I didn't see it, but.. that's pretty amazing, right?
