I live in the UK just north of London with my husband, two children (15 and 11) and our dog. I can sometimes be quiet, shy and awkward but once I’m comfortable, I will talk your ear off. I like to think I have a good sense of humour, I’m clean and tidy (read slight OCD) and I value honest, genuine people.

I love sharing stories, discovering common ground, sharing knowledge and hearing about other people’s passions and interests. My own hobbies and interests have varied widely over the years, I tend to hyper fixate and obsess over things. The current topics of interest being health, fitness and nutrition together with the science and psychology behind it all as well as travelling of course.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m looking to start travelling and exploring more of the world, starting this year with a couple of solo trips in the US. I love seeing new places, experiencing new things and meeting new people. Couch surfing will hopefully enable me to do that whilst saving a little money on my travels at the same time - a happy bonus!

I’m open minded and enjoy most things throughout a wide range of genres. I scare easily so typically avoid horrors however that said, I have watched plenty over the years.
