Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to show people all the unknown spots of my home town and am looking forward to being able to host people when I have more of a home set up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some of the most amazing experiences I have had travelling were a result of couchsurfing, I feel like it's such a special thing when a host and surfer can instantly get along and a great time together. I enjoy making friends through travelling and couchsurfing has help me do so. I like trying to show visiting friends and travellers the best parts of whatever town I am calling home at the time because of couchsurfing - no place is ever boring, sometimes you just need someone to show you what you can't see.

Interests

I work in the Arts but interested in branching into sustainability! Love learning and experiencing new things, want to travel everywhere! I enjoy music, arts, yoga, the beach, hiking, film, photography, dancing, food and socialising.

Music, Movies, and Books

So very vast - it's a long long list!

Movies - I love Wes Anderson for look, pretty much all (good) action films, not into chick flicks or rom coms. Like animations and doco's too :)

Music - AAAAHHHHH so much - I'll just show you my ipod....

Books - I need to read more but I like autobiography's, but also any book that can help extend my understanding and appreciation of something. Have read alot of Sylvia Path and Paluo Ceolho in the past but also Sophecles so it's a bit of a range.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing the Lars trek in Peru - 46kms over 4 days ending at Macchu Picchu at very high altitudes - at the highest peak we saw snow. I wanted to carry my own pack with it's entire weight even though they had sherpa's that were hired to carry up to 10kgs of people's packs. They said I was the first to walk to whole way with my own pack but I think they were just being nice!

Bungee Jumping in Whistler - very pretty setting, absolutely terrifying and amazing at the same time!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to teach people anything I can! Plus I want to learn as much as I can - I'm interested in the world and everything in it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook, go for walks, talk and explore parts of town with hosts. I can teach yoga too and am always up for trying new things.
