ABOUT ME

We are married couple fond of discovering new places and cultures. We're interested in eveything that comes with national cultures - customs, food, music, language, history, art and everyday way of life.

In everyday life we are typical IT people (with a little geek sense of humor ;), living in a rented flat but struggling to finish our own house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We'd love to welcome coach surfers in our house as soon as we finish furnishing it.
Until then we participate in CS only one way - searching for coach in places we visit around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are currently setting our first steps in CS community.

However we have somewhat similar experience gained during pilgrimiges and international Taize meetings, where we also relied on people's hospitality and stayed with them for a couple of days.

Interests

Above all we adore cats - have two of them in our house.
Then comes choir and classical music, good and spicy food, long walks in the nature.
We also keep track on new internet & mobile technologies (connected with what we do for living).

Music, Movies, and Books

We avoid main stream movies, instead choose the ones showing other cultures life or historical events (eg. The boy in a striped pijamas, Persepolis, Nuovo cinema Paradiso, The Pianist, Sunshine, Out of Africa)
We're not really party people, so we rather prefer calm rythms, our favourites are choir and instrumental pieces, swing, jazz, sang poetry and some movie soundtracks.
