I have 3 cats, burlesque and art in general are my passions in life, I sing in the shower, I work at a hostel, I am a vegetarian, I volunteer with Food Not Bombs, I care about food waste and making sure everyone gets some food made with love, I am a feminist and social activist, and I get along with everyone :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently quit my bar tending job because I want to travel more, see the world, make art, make memories. I feel so inspired by new places and adventures. Working in the hostel has also given me the opportunity to talk to cool people from around the world. I want to be a welcome host and enjoy other people's generous couches so I can have a more authentic experience in my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music: Billie Holiday, Fiona Apple, Of Montreal, Bauhaus, Iggy and the Stooges, David Bowie, Tori Amos, Regina Spektor, XX, Stray Cats, Interpol… too many to name. John Waters is my hero, I love all of his work. I love reading also, lots of poetry, Kurt Vonnegut and Bukowski are amazing, also anything by George Carlin, I like exploring new authors and sometimes judging a book by its cover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have survived 29 years on this crazy earth :) I get up on stage weekly and bare my soul (and tassels) to inspire people to love their bodies. I am also one of the organizers of the Buffalo Infringement Festival (10 day DIY underground art and music fest) .I love to help people and volunteer.
