Hello couch surfers! We are Cat and Kel.

World explorers, sunshine chasers, star gazers, food lovers, risk takers, adventure makers, wine drinkers, bungee jumpers, scuba divers, challenge accepters, alien believers! (That ones just Kel!)
We are currently on an 18 month mission around the globe, going as far as possible, on the teeniest of budgets.

We started in South Africa (where Kel is originally from), and after 3 incredible months, we eventually got our arses to Thailand (where Cats family are from) to see what we could find there.

Through the kindness of others, we stayed everywhere from 5* resorts (lucky!), giant gecko filled bungalows, whole 4 story houses (that was random!), to people's couches and floors. We picked up some work in a hostel in Koh Phangan for a bit and basically experienced the usual (and unusual) Thailand missions.
We jumped over to Malaysia twice, once for an extended visa run, and another as guests on a giant private liveaboard yacht, where we cruised around Islands, smoked cigars, drank whisky, dived,/snorkelled and ate amazing food with a group of lovely and generous Thais! (crazy and VERY lucky once again!)

We eventually left for Cambodia (6 months later!), and headed to Otres beach where we met up with friends and had some 'hazey' days while the monsoons and storms battered our beachside retreat. Our future plan for Vietnam and beyond changed here, as we were low on cash, and the weather was not being kind. A new plan formed, and it was time to eventually head to The West (Aus) to work.

We worked, bought a van, made it a camper and called her Teala! We are now on a Roadtrip around Oz looking for amazing sights and awesome people! We'd love to meet you and experience just a snippet of your life along the way!

The biggest part of why we travel is to make new friends; learn things we can take away with us and hopefully leave a mark on others too. We'd love a chance to get to know you, your home and your city!

It's an incredible idea; that brings people from all over the world together, utilising their generosity and kindness so that we can learn about each other and our different cultures. We can't wait to be a part of it and be hosts ourselves when we get back to the UK.

Cat speaks Thai, we can cook up a storm for you, help you build / make / paint things. I previously worked in online advertising so if you have a business I can always help out.
