Some might say I'm a bit dizzy but despite social vertigo I come with a big heart which I'm happy to share with most! I am easy going, maybe a bit of a dreamer but then I reckon reality is all a big myth anyway.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I sleep on your couch (hopefully!). I would provide excellent company, I make good (instant) coffee, but I may as well break the ice now and warn you I'm terrible at small talk! I don't mind doing my own thing and will happily vacate in the abscence of hosts and maintain respect for properties and keep areas tidy.

I love to write when I actually take the time to sit down. I still like to believe I have a novel in me and whilst I wait for it to emerge I find healthy ways to procrastinate are cooking and drawing/doodling and I also harbour a not unhealthy passion for scary films. Though I started exploring alternative genres when I lived in a dis-used haunted prison in Napier! Unfortunately I didn't have any ghostly experiences (well nothing that couldn't be explained away) and I have since dabbled in my favourite genre but sadly its hard to find a decent horror these days!

Since being in NZ I have seen the moonrise and a night rainbow, confirming my suspicions that everything here is backwards!

I have learned so much from being in New Zealand, including countries I have researched for the company I write for and I could probably tell you a whole lot about Napier Prison (though that's probably not the best advertisement for my company)! I have also found I learn a lot from just talking to new people which is one of the best things about travelling.
