ABOUT ME

we just love cooking and eating vegetarian, from making our own flour, tofu, paneer, mustard, bread and so on, improvising an oven anywhere to bake whatever comes: cake (actually, cata is madame cakes and blanca is madame breads!), lasagna, pies, quiche (do you have something in mind?)... though we were both born in a city we really prefer nature and village life, and although we like gardening and field's work our favorite activity is collecting edible wild plants and weeds, we love experimenting recipes with them!!!
in india -where we've been traveling and living since 2002- we started learning ayurveda and we try to practice it as a life style, together with vipassana meditation... sometimes we're still surprised when find ourselves meditating 2 hours per day... it's just a beautiful experience!!!

let's try now separately... cata loves confusers, has an ipod full of music (which we do not listen too much as started loving silence or nature sounds) and likes repairing and building things... and blanca still can talk about books and movies read and watched long ago...

PHILOSOPHY

in colombia there is a saying: rich is not the one who has a lot but the one who needs the least (that's for blanca)

we also like Buddha's words: if you cannot do good at least don't harm...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we started not long ago and whatever we've experienced has been very nice... actually, couchsurfing has been very interesting not just to find a place to stay in a local house, which is already a lot, but to make much quicker contacts with local people and local life... and food!!!
