ABOUT ME
Umm. Hey, hello, hi. Is this thing on?
Right off the bat, let me tell you I'm not looking to share or crash couches. Yes, it's kind of counterintuitive to write this here but I'm just looking to make friends over a drink (I won't mind it if you order a cup of coffee whilst I drink my beer, drinking coffee gets me anxious).
I've travelled a little bit myself, but for now I've settled in Renningen, a small village in the 'burbs that connects to Stuttgart. There isn't a lot to do here when you work from home as a translator, which sort of conflicts with my friendly nature.
I just hope to make a few friends around these parts, I don't mind travelling to Stuttgart or wherever. There are no expectations, just laid-back conversation/walks/sight-seeing/bars, whatever you prefer. I'm very curious and friendly by nature.
Oh, and I don't speak German yet :)
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is: don't type your personal philosophy in a web questionnaire.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have a few friends on CS, I haven't looked for them yet, I might update this at some point.
Interests
In terms of CS, just looking for a meet-up/conversation.
Other than that, the usual - movies/books/music/computer games. Very ecclectic, I go for indie/auteur/arthouse but also like the more commercial stuff. Given the situation, I can enjoy a silly comedy as much as a Czech new wave film. I like Paul Auster, I like Camus and I like comic books. I have been to rock festivals, jazz performances (when I could afford it) and still have danced to Lambada.
Of course, I like travelling, geocaches, I love all things language, always looking to learn new foreign phrases.
I'm not really looking to find common interests with you, I'll be happy to learn something new along the way.

Oops, I think I typed that under a different section.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, we could both benefit from our linguistic knowledge. I am an English/French/Romanian translator and you (probably) speak German. Win-win, no?
