I recently got the courage to step out of the limits of my comfort zone, to travel, to see new places, and to meet new people. As my freelancer job allows me to work from anywhere I have (at least a less than fair) internet connection, I can travel and work in the same time, which is great.
I live & travel with my girlfriend Amalia for 12+ years, and we usually travel together in our old car, by train, or long distances hitchhiking (in Romania so far, but we hope for other countries soon).
We are both +10 years vegetarians, we love nature, we love good music, good conversations, good people, we try to love all people :), good food, good books, good wine...
We were both rock climbers and we know a little about the mountain. Amalia still climbs and stays in touch with the rock from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel, meet new people, especially to learn from/about them, and also add my part to where I feel they need most.
My job allows me to work from anywhere I have (at least a less than fair) internet connection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not so amazing, maybe special for me:

-//- together with my girlfriend and a few friends, I was founder at AIPA, an non-governmental organization for Rock/Indoor Climbing in Iasi, Romania. The main achievement was building a highly performant climbing gym with very few resources, but lots of work.
-//- bungee jumping in Cheile Rasnoavei (∽150m)
-//- lots of long trips (30-90 days) in Romania and not only, most of them hitchhiking
-//- waking up :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

we can share life experience, and a very nice view at the 6th floor, in a very green neighborhood with loth of birds on the window and in the very tall trees. Although we decided to give up at more than 75% of the things gathered over the years (and they were many), we still have lots of interesting books, musical instruments (didgeridoo and other strange instruments to blow into, dramba, harmonica...), and more :) I will also share my famous oven baked dish with lots of cheese and potatoes, and of course a glass of red wine.
We own a car and sometimes we can take you around and show you the surroundings.
