ABOUT ME

I am interested in music, traveling, sharing thoughts, ideas, musings, rants, raves, stories, songs, food. I like cooking (and eating), dancing, and laughing. I like putting my life (and our collective species) into perspective, small beautiful planet in a big big universe. I like meeting new people, being honest, being silly, expanding consciousness, laying on the beach, reading, poetry, spiritual wanderings, giving love and compassion to myself and to all beings. I am interested in traveling eastward to India and Asia. I am interested in power, energy, THe Earth--the body--the human experience..all of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Be good. Follow the path with a heart. Live with honesty and humility. Respect yourself, your bodymindspirit, and all beings. Be compassionate, and do your best to understand, expand your mind, take risks, seek truth, seek love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I had a house, and a couch, I hosted a multitude of friends, and friends of friends, and have also slept in the homes of many a gracious host from here to there..
I had a very pleasant time couch surfin' in panama.

Música, películas y libros

I love music, all kinds of music, save except for new American country music (just doesn´t do anything for me). I dig reggae, funk, latin jams, old mexican love songs, folk, rock and roll, The Blues, jazz, afro-peruvian beats..cuba cuba cuba!.etc..the list goes on..
I am constantly looking for new books...I love Salinger, Kerouac, Ginsberg, Snyder, Tom Robbins, Buddhist authors (trompa, chodron), Luis Urrea, Maya Angelou, Anne Rice, Sandra Cisneros, lots of poetry: Mary Oliver, Joy Harjo, Whitman, Poe, Rimbaud, Rumi, Hafiz, Miriam of Magdala...etc
I enjoy good films, in particular documentaries, and of late the Carl Sagan Cosmos DVD box set.
