Msc Biotechnology with a focus on marine microbiology and bioinformatics. During my study I have had the chance to live in Portugal, The Netherlands and Germany (kudos to the Erasmus programme).
After a year being a world nomad through Australia and Asia, I am now a PhD student doing research in the field of Marine Microbiology.

My free time is mostly occupied with yoga, sailing, surfing, snorkelling, diving, rock climbing, being outdoors, or gardening. And cooking, I love to cook.
When the weather doesn't allow for outdoorsy activities, I love to have a cup of tea with friends, over a nice conversation or board game.

I find it travelling becomes so much more interesting as soon as meeting new people enters the picture! I really enjoy meeting new people and always welcome the opportunity to learn about different cultures first-hand.

I also love to show people around the places I live in and know =)

Hiked for 3 weeks in the Pyrenean peaks.
Spent some time living with a Moroccan family at the age of 14, learning about their culture.
Volunteered on sustainability oriented community centre in Indonesia
Swam with manta rays, whale sharks, reef sharks, and other amazing marine life in both east and west coats of australia
Completed the Manaslu circuit trek in Nepal
