I'm Catarina and I'm a Management Student in Universidade Nova de Lisboa. I'm 20 years old and I live in Lisbon, Portugal.
Last year I made a Gap year before going to college and end up having one of the best experiences of my life. I went to Thailand for 6 weeks in a voluntary program. I taught english to 7 year old kids. My 22 babies that will always be in my heart! I met people I will never forget and I will definitely go back one day. I love children and I think it's because I'm an energetic, cheerful person that loves playing around.
After working in tons of places last year (like McDonalds, "Fresh Juices" shop, etc) and also travelling a little around Europe, I went back to school in September. College have made me realize that I need to make the most out of my free time. I'm a very curious person and always looking for new experiences and new perspectives! I spent this two semesters sat down in the library studying hard and I feel I need to do something that really makes me happy now!
I love meeting new people, travelling and making people smile!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it's the perfect way to travel! And I want to have new experiences and grow while having fun! I think life is too short to not make the most out of it and that's what I'll try to do. I study all year so at leat let me be happy in the summer!
