Hello, my name is Catarina Costa, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Santo Tirso, Portugal, a city near Porto. I am a Bioresources student, with a strong interest in microbiology, sustainability and projects that promote a positive impact on society. Additionally, I am passionate about dance, art and any form of creative expression and movement.

Dancing is a big part of my life – I participate in competitions, international workshops and artistic projects. I also teach urban dances, such as Hip Hop, and I believe that dance is a universal language that connects cultures and people. In my free time, I like to practice yoga, meditation and explore nature. I love activities like surfing, reading and learning new languages ​​and cultures.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of genuine connections and exchanging authentic experiences. Traveling, for me, is much more than visiting places – it's meeting people, sharing stories and learning from different perspectives. As I participated in several Erasmus+ projects and cultural exchanges, I realize how enriching these moments are.

I am a curious, creative, enthusiastic person and willing to help. I like exploring the unknown and I'm always open to new adventures. If you like to talk about art, sustainability or just want to share a good coffee or walk, I'll be happy to be part of your journey or welcome you to mine!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing that I will always remember was going to the beach in North Spain and I was looking forward to surfing… I asked for a surf board just to catch a wave and all of the sudden I saw 2 dolphins near me!! It was magical ✨
