my name is Catarina, and I am a student and part-time worker.
I was born in Portugal, on 22nd of May of 1995.
I absolutely love to travel and know other cultures, specially the food! :)
I love animals of all kind and I am trying to reduce the amount of meat I eat. I stopped eating red meat 1 year ago. Although I am a foodie!!
I have a 3year photography course so I love to take all my gear with me and take every opportunity to take some shoots.
I cannot live without music and the ocean.
I love poetry and even tattooed the signature of my favorite Portuguese poet, Fernando Pessoa! A LEGEND!
My favorite food is pizza and pasta!!!!!! :)))))
In 2017 I did a 2 months Voluntary service in South Turkey and lived with 11 different people so I am all about respecting everyone!

I know some of this cities are quite expensive and I was hoping to have a better alternative for this. Also I am travelling solo so being at someones house would feel a bit more local and cozy I guess.
Meeting locals is the best way!
This is the main reason I am on Couchsurfing!
