Hello! I was born and raised in Brazil and now Paris is my home. By day, I delve into the intricate world of Bioinformatics and Human Genetics as a dedicated researcher. Beyond the realm of science, I enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life.

I'm all about trying new foods, diving into different cultures, and unearthing the histories that make each place unique. When I travel, I love to dig into local stories and really get a feel for the place. And whenever I can, I escape to nature for a recharge.

My favorite hobby is reading about sociology, politics, and history. You'll often find me engrossed in these topics, hashing out discussions with friends. When I'm not immersed in ideas, I like to enjoy the beauty of parks and museums during my downtime.

Oh, and speaking of the mind, I'm knee-deep in a (sometimes challenging) pursuit of a Ph.D. in Psychiatry Genetics. Needless to say, the intricacies of the human mind have me captivated.

I can work remotely, so I have plenty of flexibility to travel. I'm fluent in Portuguese and English, and I can manage a bit of French and Spanish too. If you're up for sharing stories and ideas hit me up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm still pretty new in the platform but what made me want to try it was the concept of exchanging life experiences with people that I would never have the opportunity to get in contact with in my daily routine. I'm still relatively new in Paris and I think this is an incredible way to make new friends.
